Overview

The following article explains how to update demographic information with AACC. 

Issue

Technical Service Desk technicians can provide account and password assistance after successful identity verification. You may need to update your demographic information with the college before account/password assistance can be provided. 

Instructions

How do I update my address and phone number?

There are two ways to update your demographic information:

Option 1: Self Services - Update your demographic information by logging into MyAACC.

                                          Or

Option 2: PDF Form - Update you demographic information by completing the Demographic Change Form for inactive accounts.


Option 1: Update your demographic information by logging into MyAACC

This option is only available if you have access to your MyAACC account.  If you don't know your MyAACC email address and password, proceed to Option 2.

  • Select Self Services Box
  • Access Self Services

  • Select User Options and then User Profile

  • You will then be presented a page where you can update your demographic information.

  • Updatable fields in your User Profile:
    • Mailing/Physical Address
    • Personal Email Address
    • Phone Number
    • Chosen Name
    • Gender

Mailing/Physical Address changes take up to three business days to process. While the address change is being processed, the new address will be marked as "Web Obtained." Once the change is processed, the old address will be removed from Self Services and the new address will be marked as "Home/Home Office" and "Preferred." Students cannot change their address immediately or delete the old address. Address changes must follow this process. 


Option 2: Update your Demographic information and Name Changes by completing the Demographic Information Change Form for inactive or disabled accounts.
