Troubleshooting
G Drive Troubleshooting - Group Policy Update
Successful connection to the G drive may take several minutes after connecting to the VPN. However, you can speed up this process by forcing a policy update. Navigate to the Command Prompt, and enter: gpupdate /force
Select Enter.
When the process finishes, select N and close the command prompt. You should now have access to your G drive.
If you're still having trouble mapping your G drive, follow the instructions below to manually map your drive.
Manually Map G
1. Open File Explorer from the taskbar or the Start menu, or press the Windows logo key
2. Select This PC from the left pane. Then, on the Computer tab, select Map network drive.
3. In the Drive list, select a drive letter. (Any available letter will do.)
File path
G drive: \\aacc-montana\shared
4. In the Folder box, type the path of the folder or computer, or select Browse to find the folder or computer. To connect every time you sign in to your PC, select Reconnect at sign-in.
5. Select Finish.
