Multiple Monitor Support in Azure Virtual Desktop

Summary

Windows Virtual Desktop provides support for multiple monitors when using the installed desktop client.

Body

By default, Azure Virtual Desktop provides support for multiple monitors when using the installed Remote Desktop client. This feature is not available in the browser.

If desired, multi-monitor support can be disabled by following these steps:

  1. Within the Remote Desktop application, right-select the desktop you are trying to launch and select Settings.

  2. In the right pane, toggle Use default settings off and select your monitor preference in the Display configuration drop down.
