Overview
The Division of Information and Instructional Technology (IIT) is upgrading the sign-in process for AACC online services, such as Outlook, Teams, and MyAACC. IIT will be upgrading from an on-premises federated system (ADFS) to Microsoft’s cloud-based Azure sign-in.
What is happening?
The upgrade to Azure Authentication is necessary to provide better security for AACC's online systems.
The new sign-in experience will look slightly different. You’ll sign in with your full email address, instead of just your username.
What is the timeline for this project?
IIT has been working behind the scenes for several months to prepare for this transition. At this time, all online applications have been successfully configured for for Azure Authentication.
On September 8, 2023 the former authentication method (ADFS) will be shut down. The web-based sign-in page for MyAACC and other online services will slightly change. After entering your full email address (ex. rhawk2@aacc.edu or rhawk2@mymail.aacc.edu) and selecting Next, you’ll be redirected to a new Password page. Enter your password and select Sign in.

Can't access your account?
The new Microsoft sign-in page contains two links to assist with signing in. These features will be available at a later date.
Can't access your account?
AACC users will not be able to utilize Microsoft Self Service Password Reset at this time. To reset a password from the sign-in page, select Can't access your account, then Work or school account, and enter your email address. Select Next, then select contact your administrator to navigate to our existing Password Management Tool.
Sign-in options
Please ignore the Sign-in options link. AACC online services do not use a security key or GitHub as sign-in methods. This feature cannot be removed from the sign-in page.
