What Is This Service?
If you'd like access to Azure Virtual Desktop, request this service offering. Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) provides access to cloud based virtual desktops to support remote learning and administrative access when away from campus. Access to AVD can be accomplished utilizing an installed remote desktop client or via any modern web browser.
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
AACC employees and students.
Students: AACC provides all students with access to a limited selection of applications through AACC’s Open Access Desktop. See this knowledge article for more info: Instructions for Accessing Virtual Desktops in Azure (AVD)
Employees: Employees do not have access to AVD by default. AACC employees can request access AVD by selecting the Request AVD Access button on this page.

How Do I Use It?
A technician will reach out to let you know that access has been granted in Azure Virtual Desktop. Follow the instructions here to set up AVD for the first time.
