Overview

This article provides step-by-step instructions for clearing browser cache/history in commonly used web browsers on various devices.

Issue

AACC employees have both a student account and an employee account. Some online services authenticate using the student account and some online services, specific to employees, use the employee account to authenticate. If you are receiving authentication errors when attempting to log into a web-based application, a good first troubleshooting step is to clear your browser's cache. The browser cache contains data, such as usernames/passwords, that may be used for faster web navigation in the future. Clearing your browser cache removes these saved credentials that may prevent you from successfully signing in to an online service.
