Overview
AACC's multifunction printers allow you to send a confidential document to the printer with an access code. This means that the document will not print until you are at the machine and enter a code. The code is up to the individual and can change every time you use the function.
Instructions
Setting Secure Print on your PC
-
Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, and select the multifunction printer.

-
Then, select Printer properties.

-
In the Properties window, select Preferences.

-
Select the Job tab.

-
Next, check the Job storage box.

-
Select Private print. If you would always like to use the same PIN to release secure print jobs, un-check Prompt for access code and enter a 4-digit PIN of your choice under Specify access code. If you would like to specify a PIN every time you submit a secure print job, check Prompt for access code.

-
Select the OK button in the lower right.
Retrieving your Document at the Copier
-
On the home screen of the multifunction device, select Job Box.

- Then, select the Private Print/Stored Jobs folder and tap Open.
- You will see your user name here. Select your name and tap Open.
- You should now see your print job or jobs that are being held.
- Select the job(s) you want to print and enter your 4-digit PIN when prompted. Then, click Start Print.
- This should then release the print job(s).
- Once it has been printed, it will not stay in the machine's memory.
