AACC's multifunction printers allow you to send a confidential document to the printer with an access code.  This means that the document will not print until you are at the machine and enter a code. The code is up to the individual and can change every time you use the function.

Instructions

Setting Secure Print on your PC

  1. Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, and select the multifunction printer.

  2. Then, select Printer properties

  3. In the Properties window, select Preferences

  4. Select the Job tab.

  5. Next, check the Job storage box.

  6. Select Private print. If you would always like to use the same PIN to release secure print jobs, un-check Prompt for access code and enter a 4-digit PIN of your choice under Specify access code. If you would like to specify a PIN every time you submit a secure print job, check Prompt for access code.

  7. Select the OK button in the lower right.

Retrieving your Document at the Copier

  1. On the home screen of the multifunction device, select Job Box.

  2. Then, select the Private Print/Stored Jobs folder and tap Open.
  3. You will see your user name here. Select your name and tap Open.
  4. You should now see your print job or jobs that are being held.
  5. Select the job(s) you want to print and enter your 4-digit PIN when prompted. Then, click Start Print.
  6. This should then release the print job(s).
  7. Once it has been printed, it will not stay in the machine's memory.
