Overview

This article will show you how to create or edit, an Outlook Signature in both the Outlook Desktop Application and Outlook on the Web.

Outlook Desktop Application Instructions

1: Select New Email.
Select new mail option


2: Select the Message tab in the new email window.

3: Select the Include drop down menu and then select the Signatures... option.

Include option then click signature


4: Select the New option if you want to make a brand new signature. If you have an existing signature you wish to edit, select it in the Select Signature to Edit box.

5. A dialog box will appear where you will enter in the name of the new signature and press OK.

6. Once you create the new name of the signature, ensure you select the signature you wish to edit in the Select signature to edit and then you may begin editing the signature in the text box below the Edit Signature heading.

7: Once you have made the desired edits, select Save.

8: Select when you want the signature to be applied to emails, such as for new messages and replies/forwards, and then select OK.

Outlook Web App (OWA) Instructions (if you use a web browser to access Outlook)

1: Select the Settings icon, the gear icon in the top right hand corner.

2: Select Account and then Signatures.

3. Under Email Signature, if you need to make a new signature select + New Signature. If you have an existing signature you wish to edit, it from the drop down menu.

Select New Signature if you need to make a new signature or select the drop-down box to edit existing signatures.


4: After creating a new, or selecting an existing signature, you can edit it in the text box.

5: Select when you want the signature to be applied to emails, such as for new emails and replies/forwards, then select Save.
