Overview

AACC uses Single Sign-On (SSO) to access Zoom, which uses your AACC credentials to access your AACC Zoom account, rather than by a separate Zoom password.

Zoom can be accessed on the web or through the Zoom Workplace desktop app, which is installed on all AACC workstations.

Your AACC Zoom account is automatically provisioned the first time you sign in through AACC SSO. You do not need to request an AACC Zoom account before signing in.

Employees (username@aacc.edu) receive a licensed Zoom account with features including meetings with up to 300 participants and cloud recording, etc.

Students (username@mymail.aacc.edu) receive a Zoom Basic account with a 40-minute meeting limit and no cloud recording.

Sign in to Zoom on the Web

The easiest way to access Zoom on the web is through MyAACC.

From the AACC homepage, select MyAACC.
Sign in with your AACC account credentials, and complete multifactor authentication if prompted.
Once you’re in MyAACC, locate the Technology Resources card.
Select the Zoom button.

You will be taken directly to your AACC Zoom account, where you can schedule, join, or manage your Zoom meetings.

Sign in to the Zoom Workplace Desktop App

The Zoom Workplace desktop app is installed on all AACC workstations.

Open the Zoom Workplace desktop app.
From the sign-in screen, select Sign In.
Select SSO.
In the Company Domain field, enter: aacc-edu
Select Continue.
Your browser will open to the AACC sign-in page. Sign in with your AACC account credentials, and complete multifactor authentication if prompted.
When your browser asks to open the Zoom Workplace app, select Open Zoom Meetings.
The Zoom Workplace desktop app will open, and you’ll be signed in to your AACC Zoom account.

Note: If you are already signed in to your AACC account in your browser, you may go directly to the prompt to open Zoom Workplace.

Troubleshooting

Make sure that you are signed in to the correct Zoom account.

If a meeting, cloud recording, or other expected Zoom feature is missing, first verify that you’re signed in to the correct Zoom account. You may be signed in to a personal Zoom account or an account associated with another institution.

Zoom on the Web:

Select your profile icon or initials in the upper-right corner.
Locate the email address displayed below your name.
Verify that the email address is your AACC account.

Zoom Workplace Desktop App:

Select your profile icon or initials in the upper-right corner of the app.
Locate the email address associated with the account.
Verify that the email address is your AACC account.

If you’re signed in to the wrong Zoom account, sign out and then sign back in using SSO and the company domain: aacc-edu

I have never signed in to Zoom before.

You do not need to request a Zoom account. Follow the SSO sign-in instructions above. Your AACC Zoom account will be automatically created the first time you sign in.

Zoom is asking for a Company Domain.

Enter:

aacc-edu

Then select Continue.

My Zoom password doesn't work.

AACC Zoom accounts use Single Sign-On (SSO). Instead of signing in directly with your email address and a separate Zoom password, select SSO and sign in using your AACC account credentials.
