What Is This Service?
The Video Studio Request service allows currently enrolled AACC students to request limited access to the AACC Video Studio for college-related projects that are approved by a current instructor. The studio is supported by the Instructional Media Team and may be used for activities such as presentations, interviews, podcasts, teleprompter recordings, or other instructional video projects tied to coursework.
Studio access is available by reservation only and is not guaranteed. All requests are reviewed to ensure they are course-related, appropriate for the space, and feasible based on staffing and availability.
Where Can I Get It?
Video Studio sessions take place in the AACC Video Studio and are available:
- Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- By reservation only
- Requests must be submitted at least 3 business days in advance
Once a request is submitted:
- The student’s instructor will receive an automated email to approve or deny the request.
- The Instructional Media Team will review the request, confirm availability, and schedule the session.
- If the requested time is unavailable, alternate times may be proposed.
Additional Information

- Studio reservations are scheduled internally in two-hour blocks during normal operating hours.
- Students are strongly encouraged to bring their own SD card to receive recordings immediately.
- If a download link is requested, please allow up to 3 business days after recording for delivery.
- All participants must follow studio safety and conduct guidelines, including:
- No food or drinks in the studio
- Proper use of equipment
- Awareness of lighting, tripods, and cables
- Reporting any damage or incidents to staff immediately
- If you need to cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so the time can be offered to another student.
