Overview
In January 2023, AACC launched a new ID card system and introduced digital ID cards to the college community.
Key Information
- New digital ID cards, via the TouchNet 360u app are now available for all students, faculty, and staff.
- Students, Faculty, and Staff are encouraged to obtain a new digital ID card.
- Students, Faculty, and Staff will have the ability to take and submit their own photos for their new ID cards.
- Printed cards are still available for clinical/fieldwork programs and individuals requiring a physical ID card.
- The ID card service station in the Bookstore has been relocated to the Student Services Center (SSVC).
- Please note, AACC's Testing Center requires use of a government-issued photo ID for placement, course and certification exams.
- ID Cards are available the day after your MyAACC account was created.

TouchNet 360u Instructions
TouchNet 360u is the mobile application used to access your digital ID card. Select one of the links below to view instructions for setting up the mobile app on your iOS or Android device.
Guidelines for Using TouchNet 360u
You must use your full AACC email address to log in to the TouchNet 360u app. Example:
- Student: rhawk2@mymail.aacc.edu
- Employee: rhawk2@aacc.edu
You must accept the terms and conditions and End User Privacy Agreement to use the TouchNet 360u app. You can decide if you want to allow the app to use your location and/or biometrics (face or touch ID).
New ID photos are reviewed to make sure they follow the photo requirements listed in the app and on the ID Card website. You will be notified via your college email if your photo was approved or not approved.
If you need to deactivate your AACC ID card on a previous device, please use the instructions under Remove a Registered Device.
iOS Instructions
How to Download the AACC ID Card Application
- Open the App Store application.
- Select Search from the menu.
- In the Search textbox, enter TouchNet 360u and then select the Search button.
- Select the GET button to install the free TouchNet 360u app.
- Once installed, select the OPEN button.

How to Log In to the AACC ID Card App
- Choose a preference for Allow TouchNet 360u to use your location and for TouchNet 360u Would Like to Send You Notifications.
- In the textbox labeled Search for your school, enter AACC.
- Select Anne Arundel Community College from the drop-down menu.
- On the next page, please verify you have selected the correct school by selecting the Continue button.
- If asked Do you want to allow OneCard to use Face ID?, select the Continue button.
- To navigate to the AACC log in page, select Log In and then OK.
- If asked, please consent to cookies by selecting Accept All Cookies.
- Please agree to the privacy notice by selecting the Agree button.
- Enter your full AACC email address (i.e. rhawk2@mymail.aacc.edu (student) or rhawk2@aacc.edu (employee)) and password and select the Log In button.
How to Add your Photo to the AACC ID Card Application
- Open TouchNet 360u by selecting it in your list of applications.
- After logging in for the first time, if you do not have a photo on file, you will be prompted to take a photo.
- If you already have a photo on file, you will be able to select the Approve button if you are comfortable with your photo.
- If not, select the Retake button, and follow the directions below.
- Additionally, if you are not prompted to approve/take a photo and wish to change your photo, you can select the Waffle button in the top right corner and select Update ID Photo.
- Select the Take Photo button.
- Review the ID Photo Guidelines.
- Photos will be manually approved only if they meet the criteria described in the ID Photo Guidelines.
- Your photo must be in-focus, encompass your whole face, including your hair, have your face in center with a neutral expression, and facing the camera.

- To take a new photo, select the Take Photo button.
- If prompted, select Allow to allow TouchNet’s access to your device’s camera.
- Aim phone camera at yourself, taking the ID Photo Guidelines into consideration.
- Take your photo.
- Feel free to move, resize, and rotate the image to bring it into frame.
- Once you are satisfied with your photo, select the Submit button.
- Your photo now appears in a circle. If you are satisfied with your photo, select the Approve button.
- If you are not satisfied with your photo, select the Retake button and repeat the previous step.
- To upload an existing photo from your device’s photo gallery, select the Upload button.
- Navigate through your photo library to select an appropriate photo.
- Move, resize, or rotate the photo to bring the image into frame then select the Submit button.
- Your photo now appears in a circle. If you are satisfied with your photo, select the Approve button. If you are not satisfied with your photo, select the Retake button, and repeat the previous instructions.
- Once your photo is submitted, a notice will appear letting you know that an administrator will review your photo for approval soon.
- Once approved, you will receive an email indicating that your photo was approved.
- If your photo was not approved, you will be notified via email to retake your photo.
How to Access your AACC ID Card Details
- Open the TouchNet 360u by selecting it in your list of applications.
- Please accept the privacy notice by selecting the Agree button.
- Please approve your photo by selecting the Approve button.
- To view your Digital ID card, select your photo at the bottom center of the screen.
- Your digital ID card displays your photo, name, ID number, and ID QR code.
- To view a landscape version of your ID card, swipe Right.
- To view the back of the landscape version, swipe Right again, the number underneath the bar code is your AACC Truxal Library number.
- To view your Library number, displayed as a QR code, swipe right again.
- To view other app features, tap on your photo at the bottom center of the screen.
- To return to your ID card, tape on the photo at the bottom center of the screen again.

How to Download the AACC ID Card Application
- Navigate to the Apps section.
- Select Google Play Store.
- In the Search bar, enter TouchNet 360u.
- Select the Install button for the free app.
- Once installed, select the Open button.

Physical ID Cards
Employees: Physical ID cards are not provided for faculty and staff. If you have a business reason for needing an physical ID, reach out to IDcard@aacc.edu for more information.
Students: Printed cards for students are available for some clinical/fieldwork programs. Send an email from your @mymail.aacc.edu account to IDcard@aacc.edu to request a physical ID.
Troubleshooting
Can't sign in to TouchNet?
If you're receiving the error below, your TouchNet account is not active. If you recently registered for class or just reactivated your student account, wait 24 hours before attempting to sign in to TouchNet.
TouchNet Error Message: "You're not authorized to access this service"
If you are having trouble downloading or logging into the TouchNet 360u app, please contact the Technical Service Desk at 410-777-4357 or select the Request Help with TouchNet360u button on this page.

Mobile ID cards are only available on one device. Follow the instructions below to remove your ID from a mobile device:
- Remove a device via TouchNet 360u mobile app (iOS or Android)
- If you have access to the device that you'd like to remove, launch the TouchNet 360u app and sign in with your AACC email address and password.
- Select the Waffle button.
- Navigate to Remove Device under the Security heading.
- Remove a device via Web Browser
- Navigate to https://secure.touchnet.net/C20746_oneweb on a computer or mobile device.
- Sign in with your AACC email address and password.
- Select Manage Campus ID.
- Select Unregister 360u App.
- Select Confirm.
