IIT follows procedures for accounts and technology equipment with Legal Hold status.
A legal hold, is a directive to preserve potentially relevant information in anticipation of or during a legal proceeding. It can be issued by a court or an organization to prevent evidence spoliation. Legal holds can apply to electronic and physical documents.
