MyAACC Portal Overview

Overview

MyAACC is the college’s student portal, meaning only authorized users can access the site.

Students can register for class, pay their bill, manage financial aid, view grades, make appointments with an advisor, check college email, access online courses and more. All of these activities are handled within MyAACC to protect your privacy and security.

Additionally, faculty and staff use MyAACC to access employee resources, such as the intranet, Self Services, and employee email. 

In spring 2023, the college upgraded the MyAACC portal for students, faculty and staff members. The new MyAACC has:

  • An updated, sleeker design
  • Allows you to customize your portal based on your needs
  • Enables you to access resources quickly

Will the new portal still be called MyAACC? Yes, the portal will remain MyAACC 
What will be the URL for the new portal? The URL will remain the same, portal.aacc.edu 
When will I have access to the new portal?  The new portal will be soft launched to faculty/staff on 2/22 and students on 3/8, details on how to access the newportal during the soft launch will be posted within MyAACC. On 4/3 the current portal will be replaced by the new portal.
Can I continue to use the current portal during the soft launch of the new portal? Yes, during the soft launch period both portals will be available. You are encouraged to start using the new portal early so you can familiarize yourself with the new layout. On 4/3 the new portal will completely replace the current portal.
Will users still log in with the same username and password? Users will log in using their email address (@mymail.aacc.edu for students and @aacc.edu for employees) and password.
How can I find the information I need? Information will be available on cards and/or on the hamburger menu.
What are cards? Ellucian Experience cards are a feature of Ellucian's student engagement platform that allows users to access personalized information and services. The cards are customizable widgets that are displayed on the user's dashboard, providing quick access to information such as class schedules, financial aid information, campus new and more. Ellucian Experience cards are designed to improve student engagement by providing a user-friendly interfacethat is tailored to each student's needs and preferences
