Overview
How to print a 3D model on the Qidi 3D printer from a USB drive.
Instructions
1. Insert the USB thumb drive into the USB port on the front of the printer. Suggestion: place the file in the root folder to make navigation easier.

2. Turn power on.

3. Press the "Print" icon.

4. Locate your file to be printed (.stl file) and press the file to enter into the print screen.

5. Press the print icon to start the print.

6. The interface will show the progress.

Select color of filament (preferably, ABS, but PLA will also work)
1. Install Filament spool

2. Tighten the retaining screw.

3. Insert the filament through the filament guide

4. Press tool menu.

5. Press the filament icon.

6. Press on the number. When color changes to red, it will show Temperature rising.

7. When the temperature reaches 220, click on the Down arrow.

8. Slowly press down on the filament while waiting for the filament to flow through the extruder.

The Printer is located in SUNB140E. For additional help, please see Mira Wachs or other DSS staff member.
This printer is not connected to a computer nor the network. You'll need to copy the file onto a USB thumb drive. It is suggested to place the file on the /root folder of the thumb drive to make it easier to find when you go to print the file.
