Overview
IIT provides resources for staff to manage group (shared) calendars. Each calendar has identified owners who are responsible for management of the calendar, its content, and membership. Group calendars are intended to provide broad visibility and contain helpful information, such as college operating dates or important academic term information.
There are two employee-only group calendars available to all AACC faculty and staff:
- Operating Calendar
- Key Operating Dates for the fiscal year.
- Academic Calendar
- Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer term important dates.
Requesting a New Shared Calendar
Select the button Request a New Group Calendar on this page to begin the process.
Instructions for Accessing Group Calendars
AACC employees can follow the instructions listed below to access the Operating or Academic Calendars with their employee (@aacc.edu) email account.
Outlook Desktop Application
Navigate to Calendars in Outlook. Check the box next to Operating Calendar or Academic Calendar under All Group Calendars to display these group calendars.

Outlook Web Application (OWA)
From the Outlook Web App, select the mutlifunction button (waffle) in the top right corner and select Calendar. Navigate to Groups and select the check box to display the Operating Calendar or Academic Calendar.

Outlook Mobile
From the Outlook mobile app, select Calendar. Then, select the icon in the top left corner to display the list of available calendars. Check the boxes to display the Academic and Operating Calendars.
