Adding a Shared Mailbox to Outlook

This article provides instructions on how to add a shared mailbox to the Outlook Desktop Application and Outlook on the Web (OWA).

Outlook on the Web (OWA)

If you are accessing the shared mail from a web browser, you will need to manually add it:

1) Sign into Outlook on the Web: https://outlook.com/aacc.edu

2) Right select your email address in the left hand navigation menu, and then select Add shared folder or mailbox.

3) A menu box will appear that you can enter the shared mailbox email address into. After entering the shared mailbox email address, select continue.The shared mailbox will now be in your left hand navigation menu.

Outlook Desktop Application

After being given access to a shared mailbox, it will automatically appear within your Outlook Desktop Application approximately 1 hour from when you are given access.
