Overview

Forwarding calls on your Cisco IP Phone allows you to set another line or phone number where calls will be forwarded when it is not possible to answer the call from that specific line. You can set call forwarding to all calls, or in special situations such as if the line is busy or if there is no answer. This article aims to show you how to forward calls on the Cisco IP Series Multiplatform Phone.

Instructions

Step 1. Use the buttons on the phone to select the preferred line.

Step 2. Then, select Forward All

Step 3. Dial the number you want to forward to or select Voicemail.

Step 4. To receive calls again, select Forward Off

Troubleshooting

If phone forwarding has not be enabled on your desk phone, you will not be able to follow the instructions above.  Please contact the Technical Service Desk or submit a request using the Support for Campus Telephones service offering.
