Braille Printer Juliet 120 and Romeo 60

Overview

The Juliet 120 Braille printer is used for Braille mathematics, music, tactile graphics, and documents.

This is used by students and instructors.

This printer is located in SUNB 140E. - Mira Wachs is the contact for assistance. 

Instructions

This Printer is setup to be connected to users device via usb connector, drivers can be found on the website Humanware - Juliet 120 double-sided braille embosser - Blindness - Humanware - Low vision and blindness solutions: Magnifiers, Braille devices, Audio assistants, Orientation and mobility, and Embossers or the usb drive that is shipped with the printer. A usb drive with the content can also be used to print instead of connecting to users device. 

  • DuxBury font is required to use the printer. This font needs to be installed on the device that's connecting to the printer.
  • The printer does not use ink, it is also a double sided printer.
  • The printer should be in the locked position before moving.
  • The control panel on the front of the printer will allow you to navigate through your printing options. The control panel is voice activated.
