Overview
The Respondus LockDown Browser is a secure web browser designed for remote learning and testing. Many quizzes in Canvas require the Respondus LockDown browser. This article covers installation and usage instructions.
Important for AACPS Chromebook users:
School-issued AACPS Chromebooks typically lack administrative installation privileges. If Respondus LockDown Browser is not already installed on your device, you may not be able to install or run it. Instead, consider borrowing a loaner laptop from the AACC Truxal Library—just email circdesk@aacc.edu. See the What technology is available for students to borrow from the library? FAQ for information about borrowing a laptop.
