Overview

There are two methods for resetting a forgotten password from the AACC Sign in Page.

1. Password Management Tool

   • Reset your password by receiving a temporary security code sent to your cell phone or personal email address OR reset your password by answering your challenge questions.

2. Microsoft Self Service Password Reset (SSPR)

   • Reset your password utilizing your Microsoft Security Info Sign in Methods.

1. Password Management Tool

Reset your password using the Security Code

1. Navigate to the Password Management Tool using an option below:
   • Go to https://www.aacc.edu/password and under the Forgot Your Password heading select Reset Password Using a Security Code.
     • OR
   • Select Password Management Tool from the AACC Sign in Page.
     • OR
   • Select this button: Reset Password Using a Security Code

2. You will then be asked to enter your AACC email address, Captcha, and select the box agreeing to receive text messages. After completing, select Submit.
   • If you'd rather reset your password using your challenge questions, select the option Don’t want to receive a Security Code?  Reset your password by answering your challenge questions. 

3. Select where you want the security code to be sent and select Send Security Code.

4. You will then receive a message that the security code has been sent. Select Ok.

6. Enter the 6 digit security code you received by either text or email and then select Validate.

7. After validating, you will then be prompted to reset your password.

Reset your password using the Challenge Questions

1. Navigate to the Password Management Tool using an option below:
   • Go to https://www.aacc.edu/password and under the Forgot Your Password heading select Reset Password Using Challenge Questions.
     • OR
   • Select this button: Reset Password Using Challenge Questions
2. Enter your AACC email address and select Submit.

3. Enter your date of birth, AACC student ID, and the answers to two random challenge questions. Select Submit.

4. After validating, you will then be prompted to reset your password.

Troubleshooting the Password Management Tool

Temporary Security Code

If you receive an error message when attempting to reset your password with a temporary security code, you may not have a personal email address or cell phone number in the Password Management system. Submit a ticket for assistance, or try resetting your password with your challenge questions.

Challenge Questions

Don't remember one of your challenge questions? Select Shuffle Questions.

Still have questions?  Contact the Technical Service Desk or complete the Forgot your MyAACC Password request. 

2. Microsoft Self Service Password Reset (SSPR)

Navigate to the Microsoft Self Service Password Reset SSPR using an option below:

• Select the Can't access your account? or Forgot my password links from the AACC.edu sign in page.
  • OR
• Select this button: Reset Password Using SSPR

Enter your AACC email address (ex. employee, rhawk2@aacc.edu or ex. student, rhawk2@mymail.aacc.edu).  Respond to the Captcha and select Next.

Choose an option to get back into your account.

Check your email, phone, or Microsoft Authenticator App for a notification/code.  Follow the steps to create a new password.

Select Finish to set your new password.

Troubleshooting SSPR

If you receive a message similar to the one below, select the linked text contact your administrator to use the Password Management Tool instead. After you have reset your password, navigate back to this site to set up your SSPR sign in methods: https://aka.ms/ssprsetup

Olvidó su contraseña

Descripción general

Hay dos formas de restablecer una contraseña olvidada de MyAACC:

Instrucciones

Restablece tu contraseña utilizando el Código de Seguridad.

1. Navegue a la herramienta de administración de contraseñas usando una opción a continuación:
   • Vaya a https://www.aacc.edu/password y en el encabezado Olvidó Su Contraseña, seleccione Restablecer Contraseña Usando un Código de Seguridad. 
     • O
   • Seleccione la herramienta de administración de contraseñas en la página de inicio de sesión de AACC.
     • O

   • Seleccione el botón: Restablecer contraseña utilizando el Código de Seguridad

2. A continuación, se le pedirá que ingrese su dirección de correo electrónico de la AACC, Captcha, y seleccione la casilla aceptando recibir mensajes de texto. Después de completar, seleccione Enviar
   • Si prefiere restablecer su contraseña utilizando sus preguntas de desafío, seleccione la opción ¿No desea recibir un código de seguridad? Restablezca su contraseña respondiendo a sus preguntas de desafío.

   

3. Seleccione dónde desea que se envíe el código de seguridad y haga clic en ‘Enviar código de seguridad.
4. A continuación, recibirá un mensaje de que el código de seguridad se ha enviado por mensaje de texto... Seleccione Ok

    

5. Ingrese el código de seguridad que recibió por mensaje de texto o correo electrónico y luego seleccione Validar.

   

6. Después de la validación, se le pedirá que restablezca su contraseña.

   

Restablece tu contraseña usando las Preguntas de Desafío

1. Navegue a la herramienta de administración de contraseñas usando una opción a continuación:
   • Vaya a https://www.aacc.edu/password y en el encabezado Olvidó su Contraseña seleccione Restablecer Contraseña Utilizando Preguntas de Desafío. 
     • O
   • Seleccione el botón: Restablecer Contraseña Utilizando Preguntas de Desafío
2. Ingrese su dirección de correo electrónico de la AACC, seleccione Enviar/Submit

   

3. Ingresa tu fecha de nacimiento, tu ID de estudiante de AACC y las respuestas a dos preguntas de seguridad aleatorias. Selecciona Enviar.

   

4. Después de la validación, se le pedirá que restablezca su contraseña.

   

Solución de problemas de la herramienta de administración de contraseñas

Código de seguridad temporal 

Si recibe un mensaje de error al intentar restablecer su contraseña con un código de seguridad temporal, es posible que no tenga una dirección de correo electrónico personal o un número de teléfono móvil en el sistema de administración de contraseñas. Envíe un ticket para obtener ayuda o intente restablecer su contraseña con sus preguntas de comprobación.

2. Microsoft Self Service Password Reset (SSPR)

Navigate to the Microsoft Self Service Password Reset SSPR using an option below:

• Selecciona la opción ¿No puedes acceder a tu cuenta? o Olvidé mi contraseña desde la página de inicio de sesión de aacc.edu.
  • O
• Seleccione el botón: Restablecer contraseña usando SSPR

Ingrese su dirección de correo electrónico de AACC (por ejemplo, empleado, rhawk2-aacc.edu o ex. estudiante, rhawk2-mymail.aacc.edu). Responda a la Captcha y seleccione Siguiente

Elija una opción para volver a su cuenta.

Revise su correo electrónico, teléfono o aplicación Microsoft Authenticator para obtener una notificación/código. Siga los pasos para crear una nueva contraseña.

Seleccione Finalizar para establecer su nueva contraseña.

Resolución de problemas

Si recibe un mensaje similar al siguiente, seleccione el texto vinculado en contacto con el administrador para utilizar la Herramienta de administración de contraseñas. Una vez restablecida la contraseña, vuelva a este sitio para configurar los métodos de inicio de sesión SSPR: https://aka.ms/ssprsetup
